By car:
From Florence or Roma : Take Autosole A1 tollway and Exit at “Val di Chiana” and follow signs for Torrita di Siena. When you come into Torrita di Siena, take the left fork in the road to Pienza, then go straight up hill towards the arched gateway into the town (not left). Turn right at the gate and go around the wall. Then turn sharp right at the sign “TUTTE LE DIREZIONI” and go downhill and turn left at the sign for “Residenza D’Arte”. Go uphill. At the top there is a wall and church in front of you. The entrance gate is on your left. Park and walk up around the wall and up the stairs to the front of the property. Reception is inside the second building on your left.

By train:
There is also a train station in Torrita di Siena with quick and comfortable transportation to Chiusi (about 20 minutes), from which one can arrive in Rome and Florence in a little more than an hour.
